Location: Hybrid/Kent, with regular attendance at Southampton Head Office
Contract: Full-time
Salary: Starting from £25,000+ (DOE)

As we establish new work streams in Kent, we are excited to welcome an Assistant Ecologist who will play a key role in supporting our growth in this region. The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and competent Assistant Ecologist to join our team. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely in Kent, with regular attendance at our Southampton head office to collaborate with colleagues and clients.

As an Assistant Ecologist at Enims, you will:

• Support ecological surveys, assessments, and monitoring across a variety of sites.

• Assist with Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and reporting.

• Contribute to habitat creation, landscape design, and management plans.

• Work independently and competently, while collaborating with the wider team.

• Be part of establishing and growing new work streams in Kent.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in ecology, environmental science, or a related discipline.

• Brings practical experience in ecological surveys, assessments, and monitoring (experience preferred).

• Is hardworking, dedicated, and passionate about ecology and landscape design.

• Is able to work independently and take responsibility for tasks, while contributing to team success.
