Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental Month
Every January for the past 3 years enims takes this month to have an in-depth look at Health, Safety, Wellbeing and Environmental topics within our organisation. Bringing together the vast range of experiences our team has to create a month full of informative and creative presentations. Every day during this month we will share a different topic on subjects as wide ranging as musculoskeletal heath to reducing plastic waste. This being our fourth year of running what has turned out to be a very successful and useful annual event, one that brings health, safety, wellbeing and the environment right into the forefront of our teams minds. Due to the success of our previous three years this year we have decided to share some of these presentations with you on our website.
On 25th of January last year enims proudly signed the Time to Change Pledge and since then we have work hard to maintain our commitment to eliminate mental health discrimination in the workplace. As part of this commitment Helen Satchell, our Senior HR Manger, completed the Mental Health First Aiders course with MHFA England and came our first Mental Health First Aider within enims. One year on we will be revisiting this Pledge as well as addressing other topics relating to both mental and physical health.
As an environmental consultancy we care deeply about our own impacts on the environment and this month we are also looking at what we, both at enims and at home and see how we can reduce any negative impacts as well as promoting best practices. This includes subjects such as light pollution, reduction in waste and improving biodiversity at home.
We invite you to share this month of awareness with us. We will be uploading many of these topics on our website so please keep a lookout that may be of interest to you!
