Assistant Level Ecologist

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill Assistant Level roles. These individuals will have a hands-on role in all aspects of our work and will have a great opportunity to quickly develop their skills and experience under the guidance of our senior consultants. This is a full-time (fixed-term) position.

The Role

These roles will include assisting and carrying out site and habitat surveys; desktop studies; report writing; and site supervision. A good deal of our work is comprised of highways supervision (both day and nightworks).

Requirements

  • Relevant degrees

  • CIEEM membership

  • Experience of field work ecology (minimum of 2 years’ experience)

  • Holder of NE Licences

  • Extended Phase 1 habitat and protected species survey skills

  • Excellent report writing skills, ability to provide clear and concise information.

  • Excellent Communication skills (both within the team and with our clients)

  • Driving licence and car and willingness to travel within the UK and work unsociable hours essential.
