Our Skills

E.N.i.M.S. Landscape Division team have been on, and often lead on, green infrastructure, open spaces and bio-diversity design and planning.

All of the landscape team are experienced in landscape management of large infrastructure schemes including Highways, Railways, Business Parks and Hospitals. We have most recently played a supporting landscape management role for the Government backed Eco-Town development.

Our skills and knowledge of the planning system and requirements of Planning Policy puts us in a very good position to support and advise our clients on Planning Applications, including design and landscape enhancement. Our landscape knowledge allows us to produce advanced management plans which add value to both the natural landscape and our clients' projects .

Our Landscape managers' skills in contract management has proven successes for a number of award winning schemes. Our knowledge of resourcing mature trees and shrubs has provided an appearance of established landscapes, which has been requisite for most projects and have all been managed by our landscape team.

The landscape team work with and are often involved with our Ecological Division projects and provide expertise and support with schemes where the ecology and the natural landscape cross over between the two divisions. This is often the case when completing Breeam and Codes for Sustainable Homes where the credit assessments are based on both Landscape & Ecology expertise.

Our Landscape Planners are fully conversant with Planning Applications including EIA's and Planning Policies (PPS). The teams knowledge of this system allows us to not only provide specific chapter information, but to be able to coordinate with other discipline specialists to produce full Environmental Impact Assessments reports.
