E.N.i.M.S.' Expertise Contributes to Successful Outcome for New Forest SSSI
Specialists from E.N.i.M.S. Ecology and Landscape Management teams have been involved with a high-profile vegetation management scheme designed to improve road safety and enhance landscape views on the A31 between Junction 1 M27 and Ringwood, Hampshire.
The success of the scheme has now resulted in 16.5 hectares of SSSI now being listed as being in a "Recovering" condition, and reversing the status of "Unfavourable Declining."

E.N.i.M.S.' Ecologists Successfully Translocate Bats on Development Site
The E.N.i.M.S. team, including Licensed Ecologists, were commissioned to provide essential ecological services for David Wilson Homes Southern.
The comprehensive approach and successful outcome of the project was a result of E.N.i.M.S. balancing the needs of the company with those of the wildlife and protected species in the 2.5 acre site.
The sensitive approach to, and subsequent translocation of bats found on the site was a key factor in the development of the site.
As part of this project a conservation area was created to mitigate for the protected species on site. ENiMS created information boards to inform the public of the importance of the site and to publicize the ‘green credentials' of the site and developer. See the full Info-Board.
